With Spring in the air a post hibernation festival season quivers in anticipation. Sun scorched fields beg to be danced upon. Red dirt pleads for a pummeling bassline. Winding rivers dream of watermelon slices and glitter. It’s time to dust off that inflatable unicorn, dig out your doof stick and dance off those winter cobwebs - Subsonic is calling.

Gaining force, fury and fantastical vibrations, Subsonic this week released a cheeky taste of what’s to come. Aside from the magical setting of Riverwood Downs; this years fantastical theme “where everything is everything, but not always as it seems.” and the annual coming together of every glittering, rainbow pooping unique freak, in and out of town - Subsonic promises a musical offering fit for the gods.

Slaying down a euphonic collective of such magnitude - Australia's premium boutique festival promises you the world. Literally. After a round-the-globe recruitment trek, they return in exulted GLORY with an international line up that’ll have each and every dancing soul grooving in blissed out wonderment. Making it onto the hallowed Triple J hot 100 - 2016 was a grand year for the winning duo. Representing the UK this time round is Pearson Sound, whilst Somalian original Samba the great - set to blow minds - brings her unique message and sounds. Bringing a politically charged burst of lyricism - Melbournites Combat Wombat, alongside Sydney’s very own Big Village All Stars also join the soiree.

Decorating the main stage with his glimmering talent and “ at the helm of a subterranean armada”, Rodriguez Jr. comes with one purpose - to dazzle. A man with kaleidoscopic musical vision and drive”, this fantastical Frenchman “effortlessly moves through shimmering, contemplative electronica, deep and urgent techno, leftfield melodic accents, and quirk pop” and entertains with mesmerizing purpose.

With a distinguished career stretching over 15 years - Swedish producer Seba brings a bangin dose of earth moving D&B.  Legendary Detroit/ Berlin based Ryan Elliott - master of his craft - delivers delicious bass-driven techno. Meanwhile a gaggle of local talent spin purified magic and mayhem...

"...representing everything roots & rhythm, ‘Australian earth music with sublime

dimensions’ are Oka. Coming in from across the ditch are Weird Together, an eclectic band from NZ bringing their

captivating blend of of world, funk, & house to the table. With an international reputation as one of our country’s

pioneering artists in dancehall & reggae, we warmly welcome back Mista Savona, arguably Australia's leading

exponent of roots reggae and dancehall music. While lastly joining him on the bass tip we welcome San-franciscan

turned Melbournian and Additech label daddy Hypnotech, who’s played an endless amount of clubs, outdoor

festivals, and underground renegades. His dedication to cultivating the finest in electronic music is obvious in every set".
